Fullfill SRT Requirements Today!

Everyday, as an EMTs and Paramedics, we answer the call to the Sick and Injured in the Healthcare Community. In addition, as 1st Responders, we may be called to respond to Natural as well as Manmade Disasters within our state, region, or country. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has developed many courses to better prepare 1st Responders in the event of these disasters. The FEMA Independent Study (IS) Programs are programs that consist of an interactive web based courses that students are able to complete online over an unspecified period of time. Many of these courses help to introduce and educate the 1st responder community in INCIDENT COMMAND, HAZ MAT AWARENESS, as well as the NATIONAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (NIMS), which has been adopted as the blueprint for reponse to major/catastrophic incidents. It is recommended for all 1st Responders to complete these courses to better prepare themselves for a response.  In addition these courses meet base requirements for many agency disaster response teams.
