Geriatric Responding Assessment Care Education
Medical emergencies occur without warning, are you prepared?Superior Ambulance Service has developed this program to assist non-medical or limited medical personnel, who work in extended care facilities, with assessing and handling emergencies prior to ambulance response.
Many employees have contact with patients on a day to day basis i.e., RNs, LPNs, CNAs, PTs, Office Staff and even Maintenance Personnel, those with less medical knowledge may have run across a patient in some distress and was unable to help them. For those without advanced medical knowledge, this course will provide updated First Aid care and the knowledge to activate an emergency plan while waiting for EMS to arrive.
